The Grand Parade

The Parade will be the highlight in the morning starting at 10am. It will proceed down the main street from Collins Street and end at Short street. The Parade is colour, spectacle and sound, designed to usher in the warmth and renewal that is Spring.

Floats are welcome, as are marching bands, community groups. dance troupes, local businesses, sporting and community groups. If you have a message, wish to celebrate and are proud to walk the main street of Corrimal, come along!

Entry to the Grand Parade is free and open* to all members of the community, local organisations and businesses.

Cash prizes are awarded to the two best floats or groups that display their ethnic, sporting or community service organisation during the Parade. The judges decision will be announced at the centre stage in Memorial Park after the parade.

Parade bookings will commence from 1st June 2008. All participants MUST have current Public Liability Insurance and provide a copy with the Application form.
