ANZ Spring into Corrimal "Shop Spruce Up" 2008

In 2008 we are again having a competition for the business that decorates, dresses or spruces up their shop window, display or premises for the week before Spring into Corrimal, from 6 September 2007 to 13 September 2007.

First prize will be $300 in cash.

Second prize will be $150 in cash.

Entry is free to businesses in Corrimal, but participants must register with the Advertiser by sending an e-mail with name, phone number and address to glancaster@avcnet.com.au marked “Spruce up your Shop”.

The Rules are:

• The competition will start on 6 September 2007. Judging will happen on Friday 12 or Saturday 13 September 2007 by representatives of Corrimal Apex, the Advertiser and the Chamber of Commerce.
• Judges will be looking for tidiness, creativity and elements of a “Spring” theme, .
• Participants must display a Spring into Corrimal poster (either delivered or from the website). Posters will be delivered to all registered participants before the competition start.
• The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• The winner will be announced at Spring into Corrimal and published in the Advertiser/Illawarra Mercury.

CORRIMAL APEX COMMUNITY ACTION FUND

The Corrimal APEX Community Action Fund is a Fund being established in conjunction with the Spring into Corrimal Festival to allow sponsors and supporters of the Spring into Corrimal Festival, as well as community members, to make direct contributions into a bank account maintained by the APEX Club of Corrimal Inc. with all funds donated being applied to sporting and community groups within the Corrimal and surrounding areas from Fairy Meadow to Bulli.

Funds raised will be donated, in consultation with the Corrimal Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. to sporting groups, surf life saving clubs, St Johns Ambulance, scouts and guides and special programmes in local schools.
