Stallholder Information

DOWNLOAD STALLHOLDER APPLICATION FORM

This year, types of stalls will be limited within each category to ensure a wider variety is offered to the public. Preference will be given to multicultural, artistic, handcrafted, community, environmental and locally based stalls.

A larger “Spring” element will also be incorporated into this year’s festival, so flower, plant, horticultural and sustainable stallholders are encouraged to get involved.

Fees, terms and conditions are detailed below -  Please ensure you read this.

Please note this is an application process only, and you are not guaranteed of a stall unless you receive written confirmation from the organisers.

All stallholders MUST hold current public liability insurance cover as at 12 September, 2010, to the value of $10 million. Wollongong City Council must be noted on the policy, and for those stall holders selling food and drinks, the policy must be extended to include goods sold. A copy of this must be attached to your application form. It is the responsibility of all stallholders to arrange public liability insurance, to cover any claim arising out of the activities of stallholders.
Application and copy of public liability insurance must be received no later than close of business, Friday 2nd July 2010.
All applications will be notified as to whether they are accepted or not within 30 days.

If you are accepted...

Due to a review of the event site layout, stallholders are not guaranteed the same stall site as previous years, so please keep this in mind.
Please act sensibly in setting up your stalls. ALSO, please keep doorways to shops as clear as possible and respect the rights of shop owners to enter their shops.
Please note that the roads will close from 6:00am. Entry may be gained by stallholders to drop off and set up, but all support vehicles must be cleared from within the site by 8 am.

The roadways will need to be cleared by 4 pm and closedown can occur from 3 pm onwards.

Shop owners get first preference to have a stall outside their shop. If the shop owner does not apply for a stall within the required time the space will be allocated to another stall applicant who has expressed interest in the site.

Any disputes or problems could result in stallholders being asked to leave the Festival. No Refund will be provided.
